Whistler Blackcomb is a year-round resort located in Whistler, Canada. With over 17 alpine bowls, four glaciers, 200 trails, 8,171 acres of skiable terrain and a one mile vertical rise, the choices of where and what to ski/ride at Whistler Blackcomb from beginner to advanced terrain are staggering.

In summer, Whistler Blackcomb is home to the gravity fueled Whistler Mountain Bike Park; known as the best lift-accessed downhill bike park on the planet. Meanwhile, alpine hiking and sightseeing in the summer is phenomenal with incredible vistas of the surrounding Garibaldi Provincial Park.

The landmark PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola opened in December 2008, further elevating the Whistler Blackcomb experience.

The mountains also play host to countless festivals and events each year including the legendary World Ski & Snowboard Festival each April, and Crankworx Mountain Bike Festival each August. Whistler Blackcomb also played host to the world as the official alpine skiing venue for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

Skiing and riding is still open until May 20, 2013.
