Under a raging war, everything was dying, everything was wasting, collapsing and crumbling, but there was something that decided to be born after it was sentenced to death and still is. however, the taboos in a conservative Eastern society dared to escape the law, religion, and customs which faded amidst the screams of battles, missiles, and rockets. So we find an overwhelming number of Syrians telling their tales about forbidden love and their stories about the LGBTQ community where they belong.
They don’t consider themselves aberrant, strongly assimilated that they are natural people armed with what medicine says and what they have read about sexual tendencies and orientations.
As for homosexuality, it is another matter. Most of them were victims of bad social circumstances. They speak sadly about sexual orientations which were imposed on them unintentionally, but they exist and there is no turning back today. Besides that, they don’t stop punishing their parents with more words of blame and less of insulting. However, tears hide many things.
