    A pragmatic, regretful ex-fighter takes on a job finding people to compete in an underground fight competition only to realize his thirst for fighting is stronger than ever.

    If he is not out scouting fighters, Phil Train spends his nights writing his memoirs and seeking the favor a prostitute named Crystal.

    This all changes when his employer questions his competence and gives him a list of people to petition.

    Already feeling out of place, Phil sets out on a quest to find the best fighters. Looking only at the first name on his list, Phil gives his litmus test to an undercover crooked police officer, who passes the test.
