In October 2014, Thibaud Laroche left alone to Europe, aiming to undertake a 4-months world tour. For 124 days, he backpacked across a dozen countries of Eurasia, meeting and living with people from all over the world. Since his departure, he wanted to assemble a documentary on this trip, so as soon as he got back to Quebec, he began editing what would become Finding Ghar, which follows not only his adventures from Ireland to Malaysia, but also explores more deeply his feelings and an oral account of his unique experiences.
