Two years after the tragic death of their mother, Grace, Hope and Cole still feel the weight of her loss. While Hope and her stepfather, Bill, make a vow to move on; Cole seems stuck, unable to find motivation and pessimistic about the future. After a day spent paying their respects, they each reminisce on different aspects of their time with her and the circumstances of her sudden death. From relatively normal and happy days in the park, slow-dancing in the living room, to Cole’s battle with school bullying, we get a full scope of the pain and grief they must all come to terms with.
