Nick and Kenny are two young photographers, both desperately in search of a job. They are short-listed for the post of photographer with a leading magazine. However there is one final hurdle – they need to shoot a series of photographs, within a day, based on the theme ‘Curious Frames’. The better photographer is to win the coveted job. Nick and Kenny get down to work, using different approaches to handle the challenge. Kenny, staying true to his artistic ideals, takes photographs of real people and real situations. Nick, however, is willing to do anything it takes to be successful. He does not mind cheating a bit to get his curious frames. Nick convinces his girlfriend Bella to act as a prostitute, and to stage situations he can then ‘realistically’ photograph. The innocent Bella agrees for the sake of their love, despite being very uncomfortable with the situation. They even stage Bella sexually servicing a man, and then haggling over the money paid.
Kenny, too, stumbles upon Bella in these situations. However he does not realize that the whole thing is staged: he photographs the same scenes thinking them to be real.
