    In 2019 Pat Mastroianni, best known as Joey Jeremiah from the Degrassi Jr High series, hosted a cast reunion event in Toronto called Degrassi Palooza. It was a three day convention celebrating the cast and crew which laid the foundation for the Canadian pop culture television franchise. Pat's mission was to acknowledge the show's unsung heroes. Attendees traveled from around the world to experience this one time event. For many of the attendees the convention was a pilgrimage, and an opportunity to meet their childhood heroes. The stories are the actor's accounts of being on set and how much the series played a part in shaping their lives.
