Adri Berger short bio

Adri Berger is a photographer with over 25 years experience of shooting commercial assignments across the world for a wide range of international clients. He also works a filmmaker and has worked on a variety of commercials and documentaries. His client list includes: multinational corporations, international publications, press associations, high profile arts organizations and NGO’s. His successful commissions have resulted in several prestigious industry awards with internationally recognized bodies such as The Association of Photographers (London) and the British Journal of Photography. He has also been short listed for the annual Portrait Prize organized by National Portrait Gallery, London, whilst sponsored by Schweppes. He received nominations in the international Black and White Spider awards Los Angeles, January 2010 and again in 2012. He also earned a silver, a bronze and an honourable mention in the PX3 (Prix de la Photographie) awards in Paris in 2011 and in 2012.
In September 2012 one of his short films ‘Portrait of an Abbot’ was recognized and received an honourable mention in the prestigeous IPA awards in Los Angeles, USA, organized by the Lucie Foundation. His work has been exhibited in a variety of solo and group shows at institutions including: Thomas Kettle Gallery (London), National Portrait Gallery (London), the Association of Photographers Gallery (London), Naarden Fotofestival in the Netherlands and in the Neilson Hays Gallery in Bangkok. Prints of his work are being held in the collection of the Arts Council in the UK.
