What is Beta and how does it work?

“Beta” means we’re putting the site through its paces and are working hard to iron out the kinks. This is an opportunity to give us your feedback on what’s working and what isn’t.

Because we’re growing, we have to open the gates slowly. More filmmakers will be able to add their videos over time. But for now, what’s your story?

    Renaissance Man

In the world of 17th-century lute music, Matthew Wadsworth is a star. But few of his listeners would guess his other passion: jumping motorcycles. That’s because Matt is blind. From the Mojave Desert to Montreal to Manchester, this episodic documentary follows Matt and his motorcycle coach, Micky Dymond, as they train to set a world record. What drives them? How far will they push it?Renaissance Man was created by three friends from East Vancouver. Thanks to the generosity of a large community of friends, family and film-lovers, the team was able to gather the gear and funds to get to California and start shooting. The completed film premiered at the DOXA festival in May 2012. Renaissance Man: Part 3 is available exclusively on Reelhouse.
