Reelhouse Media Inc. is looking for a driven and personable Director of Business Development to lead and oversee the development and growth of profitable new business, and to cultivate effective market relationships. This position will be responsible for all aspects of managing and motivating the Business Development team as well as partnering with the CEO and COO to define and execute clear business strategies.
Responsible to: Chief Executive Officer
External relationships: Premier consumer brand companies, Reelhouse users, Motion picture studios, Film festival organizers, Independent filmmakers
Internal relationships: Business Development team, Senior Management, Development team
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the ongoing development of Reelhouse’s vision and strategic goal.
- Refine and lead all Marketing and User Acquisition strategies.
- Design, execute and grow key new monetization models.
- Create a new Enterprise Program; identifying, prioritizing and securing key B2B partnerships for participation.
- Manage and motivate the Business Development team in all aspects of their responsibilities.
- Extended travel to Los Angeles and New York areas may be a requirement.
Required Skills & Experience
- BA/BSc with outstanding academic performance or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience, 3-5 years experience in high-growth technology companies preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Should possess a proven track record of forging strategic partnerships.
- Ability and willingness to perform both strategically and tactically.
Additional Assets
- Start-up experience in fast-paced environments

QA Engineer Vancouver, BC
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for a QA-focused developer skilled in manual testing of webapps but also able to write tests for automated testing where appropriate.
What will you do?
Develop test plan and lead QA to ensure our apps are stable and solid. We use Javascript on both front- and back-end so familiarity with Javascript test frameworks such as Mocha, Windmill, etc. would be good. You will be helping us on many levels: performance and scalability testing, usability, accessibility, stability, as well as helping to catch straightforward bugs, cross-site scripting vulnerabilities, and other exploits. You'll be an integral part of a small but highly motivated dev team, all working in collaboration to build great apps.
